This is one of the very first images that I ever had "published" - the local news channel used it on one of their television broadcasts. Long story short, an early winter storm moved through the area and blanketed the region with a quickly accumulated 4-5" of snow. It was quite slick and there were numerous traffic accidents as it was the first real snow fall of the year. The roads, as you see them in the photo, were bone dry only an hour or so prior to it having been taken. I took it from the roof of the building where I work.
